Leanne Rosso brings a wealth of experience and creative energy to her role as the Outreach Associate at Carnegie Mellon Architecture, joining the team in June 2023. With a diverse professional background spanning marketing, design, art curation and craftsmanship, Leanne is a multifaceted contributor to the school's mission. Her diverse background, artistic pursuits and dedication to fostering global artisanship make her a valuable asset to the school’s outreach efforts and its commitment to creativity and community. In her role, she manages the outreach programs for the school through the Center for Architecture Explorations (CAE).

Leanne lived in New York City, where she spent eight years honing her skills in marketing and design working for Calvin Tsao and Zack McKown at TsAO&McKOWN Architects. During this time she also had the privilege of working alongside gallerist and limited edition publisher Peter Blum at the prestigious Peter Blum Gallery. Her craftsmanship talents also found expression in the world of specialty bespoke book binding and box making with PortfolioBox Inc., where she catered to esteemed clients such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Christie's Auction House and The Limited Editions Club.

Outside her professional pursuits, Leanne is an artist, sculptor and ceramicist. Her work has been shown in exhibitions regionally, nationally and internationally, reflecting her dedication to the arts. Committed to global social responsibility, Leanne serves on the Board of Directors of the Fair Trade non-profit organization Ten Thousand Villages, championing artisans from diverse corners of the world.

Leanne earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2001, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1998.
